Welcome to Dawn-Euphemia School, the home of the Eagles.  Dawn-Euphemia is a small rural school with approximately 159 students, 10 teaching staff, 6 support staff, and a Best Start program.  Staff members work to provide a safe and caring learning environment for the students of Dawn-Euphemia and it is certainly a wonderful place to come to work and go to school each day.

 We are proud to be a Tribes community where Tribes Celebration Ceremonies are held each month.  Parents and family members are welcome to attend the ceremonies, which are held in the gym and are advertised in the school newsletter in advance.  At these monthly ceremonies we celebrate all the amazing academic progress that our students are making as well as the extra-curricular activities that are happening, both in and out of the school setting. 

 There are two very prestigious awards handed out to our students each month.  The Literacy Student of the Month Award is awarded to a student in each classroom who has made great progress in one or more areas of the Language Arts curriculum. The second award is the Character Student of the Month.  This award is given to a student in each class who consistently contributes to the classroom and the school by modeling good character and citizenship.  Dawn-Euphemia has a very active School Council.  Our Council meets every other month and all parents are welcome to attend.  These meetings are always advertised in advance in our monthly newsletters.  Our Student Council, led by Mrs. Pedersen, provides many activities to promote school spirit and to contribute to the well being of the school community.

 Finally, we believe that a school is most successful when everyone works together as a team.  Open communication, trust and mutual respect are essential.  Don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or the office staff if you have a question or concern and please plan to attend special activities at the school.
